This is a great follow up to the hand tools class. It leads students into basic machine work as well as reinforcing the hand tools skills. This elegant cabinet utilizes joints such as the dovetail for the case, mortise and tenons for the door, and miters for the molding. But it also includes dados for the shelf, rabbits for the back and the fitting and hinging of the frame and panel door. This is an exceptional way to learn how to build, without twist, using the principles of straight and square. This is a wonderful class for the beginner and intermediate woodworker looking to improve their skills.
