All About Hand Planes

Hand planes have been around for thousands of years and are indispensable tools in the workshop. Knowing what plane to use for a specific purpose and how to grind, hone and adjust will make for effortless work. The planes discussed in this class will be the scrub, jack, jointer, smooth and rebate. Each student will gain hands on experience in all aspects of the hand plane maintenance and use. You will enjoy watching Phil, exercise his ability to make these tools sing.
